Pick and Place Robotic systems

Modern packaging lines have to be literally “fed” with packaging materials and possibly products. Whether it is nuts or screws for an automobile, vials for medicine or the cap of a shampoo or ketchup bottle is irrelevant. All these parts must be provided in a predefined position. This task falls within the scope of sorting & feeding technology. The task of the sorting & feeding systems is to pick up (=bunkering) the packaging materials and possibly products to be processed in larger quantities, mostly as bulk material, then to orientate them in a predefined position (=sorting/ordering) and then to bring them to a production machine (=feeding). With the robot system “Pick and Place”, your packaging material (containers and, if applicable, closures) or product is always placed in the correct position, at the specified time, in the correct place. Products or packaging materials are inserted into the feed system and separated reliably by the pick and place system.
